7/20/2023 0 Comments Aurora hdr 2020 price![]() ![]() ![]() TLDR: I think the bundle is worth it if you know what you’re getting with luminar and want to use it as a plug in to Lightroom. I got this bundle to try out aura HDR and for all the sky packs. (I also have not tried the new AI sky replacement in PS yet) And when I’m not doing the image from start to finish in luminar, it’s performance picks up a lot, I’m not sure why. I’m aware I could do a lot of the same stuff in Lightroom and photoshop, but the ease and speed that luminar let’s you do it is just phenomenal. I am working with 45 mp raw files but even then, compared to Lightroom it’s a joke.īut! If I do my initial edits in Lightroom and just use luminar for its AI tools, it’s freaking awesome! Swapping skies works great, relighting, AI enhance all work great. Starting with basic edits in luminar and moving from there it just continues to slow down, to the point I was waiting 15 plus seconds for it to render an adjustment.and luminar DOES work with my GPU, that’s just not usable for me. It’s not a slouch and I have no issue with performance in Lightroom (other than the fact my GPU acceleration won’t work for some reason). To give some perspective, my computer isn’t the newest, but I’m running an Ryzen 2700x 8 core, 32gb ram, 1th nvme ssd and a 980ti. I also found luminar to be FAR slower than Lightroom. Granted I only gave it a few goes, I wasn’t able to get the look I wanted from luminar alone. I was hoping to be able to drop my Lightroom subscription (I love Lightroom but don’t like paying subscriptions for things). ![]() Now I run Lightroom and luminar for a reason, I bought my copy outside of this bundle (gave the key I got from this bundle to a friend). If you’re interested in luminar then yes absolutely!Įven just the amount you save in sky packs and looks makes it worth it, luminar charges like 40 bucks for some of their sky pack.
